Training classes are held at regular intervals thoughout the year and we have grounds in Cheshire, Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside. All training equipment, with the exception of a whistle and lead, are provided and we have a shop, which is open at all training classes, where equipment can be purchased. The classes are supervised by Committee Members.

During training a few basic rules are observed:

• No bitches are allowed on the ground in season
• Puppies must be six months or over before commencing training classes
• Handlers under 11 years must obtain Committee permission before handling a dog in class
• All dogs must be kept on a lead, except when under the Trainers instruction

There are no charges made for training, but refreshments are provided at the end of most Sunday training classes, for which a minimum charge of £1 per person is invited, proceeds going to Club funds. Small contributions of sandwiches, cakes or biscuits are always appreciated on the day.
